Xander Schauffele will be determined to become the first golfer to win back-to-back
Genesis Scottish titles in the history of the tournament.
What to know about Schauffele
The American star has won 10 professional tournaments and the Olympic gold medal at the men's individual golf event of the 2020 Summer Olympics in Japan.
Schauffele has won seven PGA Tour events and his best major finish is tied second at both the 2018 Open Championship and the 2019 Masters.

The 29-year-old is set to make his return to competitive golf at the Genesis Scottish Open having taken a break after finishing 19th at the Travellers Championship last month.
Schauffele remains among the best golfers in the world as he is placed in the sixth spot on the Official World Golf Ranking (OWGR).

The San Diego-born star won the 2023 Genesis Scottish Open as he outlasted Kurt Kitayama for a one-stroke victory after an even-par final round.
