Oscar Piastri will be hoping to return to winning ways in the 2025 Formula One World Championship by clinching the British Grand Prix.

The McLaren driver claimed a podium spot at the Austrian Grand Prix on June 29, the most recent race on the 2025 Formula One World Championship calendar.
Piastri started on the third grid and went on to finish second, achieving his 19th podium in Formula One, while also receiving 18 points.
Formula One title ambitions
The 2021 FIA Formula 2 winner is still placed at the top of the World Drivers' Championship standings, having collected 216 points.
Piastri is 15 points clear of second-placed Lando Norris of McLaren and 61 points ahead of third-placed Max Verstappen of Red Bull Racing.
Why Piastri could win the 2025 Canadian Grand Prix
The seven-time winner of Formula One Grand Prix races remains the driver with the most wins in the current season, having won five events.
Piastri, who finished fourth in each of the last two British Grand Prix races, will be determined to win this weekend's event in order to widen the gap at the top of the standings.
What did he say?
"That was an intense race. I'm happy we've come away with a 1-2 after some really good racing," Piastri said after the 2025 Austrian Grand Prix.
"After a solid start, I was close to the win, but it was tough to make progress to close the gap again after the first stop. A big thank you to the team for the great car they've given us.
"To have the pace to pull away from the field whilst battling each other was impressive, and something we can be proud of. Now, onto Silverstone."
