Sergio Perez will be hoping to continue Red Bull Racing's dominance in the 2022 F1 season at the
Canadian Grand Prix on Sunday, June 19.
The Mexican has put the disappointment of the Bahrain Grand Prix behind him with a consistent display of driving to finish no lower than fourth in the subsequent seven rounds.

Perez has claimed five podium finishes and recorded his first victory of 2022 in the Monaco Grand Prix, while making it a one-two for Red Bull in the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix, the Spanish Grand Prix and the Azerbaijan Grand Prix. He also secured P2 in the Australian Grand Prix when team-mate Max Verstappen was forced to retire due to a fuel leak.
The 32-year-old is second in the drivers' standings and trails Verstappen (150) by 21 points. He had to yield the lead to the Dutchman in Montmelo and Baku, but despite being frustrated with the team orders during the Spanish Grand Prix, Perez felt the "no fighting" instruction last weekend was the right decision.

"I think it was a right call made by the team because at that time Max was a bit further ahead and it was just a good team result," he said.
"And in this place anything can happen, so at the end of the day, we managed to get a one-two, so that's a great team result."
