Fabio Quartararo will be eager to continue his good form when he takes part in the German Grand Prix on June 19.

The Yamaha rider managed to secure a podium spot in last year's German MotoGP as he finished third and he went on to win the 2021 MotoGP world title.

Quartararo is oozing with confidence at the moment having won the most recent race in the current campaign which was the Catalan MotoGP on June 5.

The French star dominated the race in Catalan from start to finish as he recorded his second victory of the season having also won the Portuguese MotoGP on April 24.

Ducati duo of Jorge Martin and Johann Zarco finished second and third respectively as the Italian motorcycle manufacturing company enjoyed a successful weekend in Spain.

The win saw Quartararo remain at the top of the 2022 riders' standings and he is followed by Espargaro and Enea Bastianini of Ducati respectively.

The reigning world champion will be looking to open a further gap at the top of the standings by winning the German MotoGP which he has never won before.

“I am so pleased, this was an incredible race. I pushed hard from the start and kept it up to the finish," Quartararo said after the Catalan MotoGP.

"With this win and my second place in Mugello last Sunday these are two great results as I feared the worst beforehand.

"Life is good, we have worked hard. I felt good from the beginning, I knew I wanted to be first on the first corner. Amazing race, I felt great," he added.

"I was pushing from the beginning and I kept checking my rear tyre, which felt really good. I'm so happy.”

Ducati are placed at the top of the Constructors' championship standings and they are followed by Yamaha and Aprilia respectively.
