Current Form
The Black Stars will be eager to maintain their unbeaten record in Group E when they face Madagascar at the Stade Kianja Barea Mahamasina in Antananarivo on June 18.
Ghana, who need a win to qualify, are winless in their last four away matches in the AFCON qualifiers having recorded three consecutive draws and one defeat as the visitors.
Madagascar, on the other hand, will be hoping to record their maiden victory in Group E having already been eliminated and they will not feature in the finals.
Barea are also winless in their last four home matches in the AFCON qualifiers having recorded three successive draws and a defeat as the hosts.
Head-To-Head
The two teams have clashed four times across all competitions and Ghana have won two matches compared to Madagascar's two victories.
The last match between the two teams ended in a 2-1 win in favour of Barea with the 2022 African Nations Championship game taking place in Algeria in January 2023.
Current Form
Nigeria, who need a point to qualify, will be keen to make it two wins in a row in Group A when they face Sierra Lione at the Samuel Kanyon Doe Stadium in Liberia on June 18.
The Super Eagles are enjoying an eight-match unbeaten run on the road in the AFCON qualifiers having registered six victories and two draws as the away side.
Meanwhile, Sierra Leone, who need a victory in order to keep their ambitions of qualifying alive, will be keen to extend their unbeaten run to four games in Group A.
The Leone Stars are also undefeated in their last seven home matches in the AFCON qualifiers having registered five draws and two wins on the road.
Head-To-Head
The two teams have met 17 times across all competitions and Nigeria have won 10 matches compared to Sierra Leone's two victories, while five games ended in a draw.
The Super Eagles claimed a 2-1 victory in their last match against Leone Stars which was a 2023 AFCON qualifier played in Abuja, Nigeria in June 2022.
What was said?
“We are going to go there [to Liberia] to compete," Sierra Leone head coach John Keister said ahead of their clash with Nigeria.
"We are not going to go there and lie down. I don’t really need to let the players understand the significance of this game.
”I think the players themselves should understand that. They should relish the challenge of coming up against Nigerian players who are doing well overseas.”
