The 2023 Dutch TT Assen or Motul TT Assen is set to take place at the
TT Circuit Assen, Assen, Netherlands on June 25.
What to know about the Dutch TT Assen
The Dutch Tourist Trophy, also known as the TT Assen, was established in 1925 for road racing motorcycles held on the TT Circuit Assen.
Also known as the ‘Cathedral of Speed,' the event attained world championship status in 1949 when it was sanctioned by the FIM.
It was the inaugural Grand Prix motorcycle racing world championship season and this makes the Dutch TT Assen the oldest event on the MotoGP calendar

The German MotoGP or Liqui Moly Motorrad Grand Prix Deutschland which was the seventh event of the 2023 MotoGP World Championship season took place on June 18.
The race was won by Jorge Martin while his Ducati teammates Francesco Bagnaia and Johann Zarco finished second and third respectively.
Standings
Bagnaia is still placed at the top of riders' standings followed by second-placed Martin and Marco Bezzecchi of Ducati is placed third.
Looking at the constructors' standings, Ducati are placed at the top - followed by KTM and Aprilia respectively with 13 races left.
Favourites
Bagnaia will be eager to retain his Dutch TT Assen title, while Maverick Vinales of Aprillia is keen to win the race again for the second time.
Bezzecchi and Martin are among the contenders coming into this race, while Honda's Marc Marquez will be looking to win the Dutch TT Assen for the third time.

"The weekend had started off well straight away but then we were unable to express our potential. If we work well, we know that we can be fast," Vinales said after being forced to retire at the German MotoGP.
"But evidently there were some problems which conditioned our performance. We still don’t know if this stems from a problem with the engine that forced me to retire. We’ll analyse the data in-depth now and try to figure it out.
"It’s a shame but complaining won’t help anything. We still believe in the project and we’ll keep our heads down and continue to work hard. The positive note is that I recovered positions in both starts – yesterday in the Sprint race and today in the GP – so from this point of view there was an improvement."
