Jimmy Butler insists the Miami Heat aren't satisfied with just winning the Eastern Conference as they prepare to face Denver Nuggets in Game 1 of the
NBA Finals at the Ball Arena in Denver, Colorado on the morning of Friday, June 2.
The Heat Forward continued his sparkling form in the playoffs, scoring 28 points against the Boston Celtics in Massachusetts on Tuesday, May 30 to clinch the series 4-3 following a 103-84 rout in Game 7.
Erik Spoelstra's team had fallen to the Celtics at the same stage last year and Butler immediately expressed a desire afterwards to go all the way this season, having come up just short against the Los Angeles Lakers in the 2020 Finals.

The six-time NBA All-Star has averaged 28.5 points, 7.0 rebounds and 5.7 assists in the playoffs as the eighth-seeded Miami saw off the Milwaukee Bucks, the New York Knicks and the Celtics to lift the Eastern Conference title for the seventh time.
However, Butler is adamant the Heat will only be happy with their efforts if they come away with the Larry O'Brien Trophy, which has so far eluded him since arriving in Florida in July 2019 from the Philadelphia 76ers.
"I just know why Coach Pat [Riley] and Coach Spo [Spoelstra] wanted me to be here," he said. "That's to compete at a high level and win championships.
"I know that the group they put around me at all times is going to give me an opportunity to do so... I'm just confident. I know the work that we all put into it so I know what we're capable of.
"But nobody's satisfied. We haven't done anything. We don't play just to win the Eastern Conference. We play to win the whole thing."
