Marc Marquez will be keen to make it three victories on the bounce in the 2025 MotoGP season when he competes in the Dutch MotoGP.

The Ducati Lenovo Team rider managed to claim a podium spot at the Italian MotoGP on June 22, the most recent event on the 2025 MotoGP calendar.
Marquez started first on the grid and went on to win the race, while also finishing first place in the sprint race, which saw him collect 37 points from the event.
MotoGP title ambitions
The six-time Moto2 world champion is still placed at the top of the 2025 MotoGP Riders' standings, having collected 270 points from nine races.
Marquez is 40 points ahead of second-placed Alex Marquez of Ducati, as the two brothers go head-to-head for the MotoGP world title.
Why Marc Marquez could win the 2025 Italian MotoGP
The accomplished motorcycle road rider has recovered the form that saw him win eight MotoGP world titles in his illustrious career.
Having won the last two races in the current season, Marquez is a clear favourite to win the Dutch MotoGP for the third time, having won the event in 2014 and 2018.
What did he say?
“At the start of the race, I tried to manage tyre wear so I wouldn’t compromise things too early. Every time I tried to control the situation, Pecco (Bagnaia) came back on the attack," Marquez said after winning the 2025 Italian MotoGP.
"He was braking very hard and very late, while I was focusing more on corner speed. When Alex took the lead, I knew it was time to start pushing, because he had a really strong pace.
"Track conditions were quite tricky today, and maintaining a very fast rhythm was risky. If anyone had closed the gap, plan B was simply to bring the bike home.”
