Marco Bezzecchi will be eager to extend his championship lead by clinching the Hungarian MotoGP with his Aprilia Racing machine.

Nicknamed "the Bez," Bezzecchi put in a dominant showing for Aprilia at the Italian MotoGP on 31 May, winning the Sprint race on home soil.
Bezzecchi followed it up with another strong victory in the main Grand Prix after leading most of the race at Mugello and holding off his teammate Jorge Martin.
MotoGP ambitions
The Bez sits first in the 2026 MotoGP Riders' standings with 173 points.
Bezzecchi leads his Aprilia teammate Jorge Martin by 17 points as the two factory riders battle at the top of the championship.
Why Bezzecchi could win the Hungarian MotoGP
The Italian Grand Prix motorcycle racer has been one of the most consistent performers this year and has looked very strong in the last few rounds.
Last year at Balaton Park in 2025, Bezzecchi delivered a strong performance to finish on the podium in third place.
The championship leader will be determined to deliver another strong performance and secure victory at Balaton Park.
