Scotland and Brazil will battle it out in a 2026 World Cup Group C clash on 25 June as the Tartan Army looks to upset the Canarinha.

Scotland suffered a 1-0 defeat to Morocco in their second Group C match on June 20, ending their three-match unbeaten run across all competitions.
Brazil, on the other hand, thrashed Haiti 3-0 in their second Group C game on June 20 and remain undefeated in five matches.

Their most recent game ended in a 2-0 win in favour of Brazil in a friendly match played in March 2011.

Scott McKenna overcame a calf injury in time to make the England bench against Morocco and the Tartan Army will look to the likes of Andy Robertson, John McGinn and Ben Gannon-Doak.
Meanwhile, Brazil have injury issues: Raphinha had to be substituted due to a right thigh hamstring injury against Haiti, and Neymar has a calf problem. However, but Canarinha boost top class players such as Matheus Cunha and Vinicius Junior.

"We have to recover quickly. It’s a short turnaround at a tournament like this," Scotland head coach Steve Clarke said after his side's defeat to Morocco.
"And when you are playing against a team with the quality of Brazil, your concentration and execution have to be spot on. The players feel good about what they’ve shown overall.
"We wanted to win a game at a major tournament and we did that against Haiti. Now we want the next step, which is to get what we need out of the Brazil game to make a little bit of history for Scotland."
