Manchester United will face West Ham United in an
English Premier League match at the Old Trafford Stadium on July 22.
This will be the 48th meeting between the two teams in the English Premier League era.
Manchester have dominated this fixture having registered 28 wins compared to West Ham's seven victories, while 12 games ended in a draw.
However, it was West Ham, who won the last league match between the two teams on 22 September 2019.
The Hammers emerged 2-0 winners over the Red Devils in an encounter that took place at the London Stadium.
Tomas Soucek, the West Ham defender, is keen to help his side do well in their remaining matches in order to retain their status in the elite league.
“I am enjoying the Premier League because we play against big teams and I’m enjoying every day on the training ground,” Soucek said.
“I’m playing with guys that I’ve played with for four or five months so I’m really enjoying it well and, hopefully, we’ll be safe and I will be able to enjoy more years here."
Meanwhile, Manchester are undefeated in their last six home matches in the league having recorded two draws and four successive wins.

The Red Devils were held to a 2-2 draw by a resilient Southampton FC side in their last home match which was played on July 13.
On the other hand, West Ham are unbeaten in their last two away matches in the league having registered a victory and a draw.
The Hammers thumped a hapless AFC Bournemouth side 4-0 in their last away game which was played on July 11.
