Corey Conners will be looking to make history by winning the 2022
Valero Texas Open for the second time in his career.
The Canadian star won this tournament in 2019 as he fired a final round of 66 to clinch the trophy by two strokes over Charley Hoffman and it was also his maiden PGA Tour win.
If Conners wins this year's Valero Texas Open, he will make history by becoming the first non-American to win the tournament more than once.

His win at the AT&T Oaks Course saw him became the first player in nine years to win on the PGA Tour having come through qualifying on a Monday.
It remains Conners' last professional win, but through the first 20 events of the 2021 season, he finished top-10 on seven occasions and top-25 13 times.
Most notably a seventh-place finish at the Players Championship and 8th place at the Masters as he looked to establish himself as one of the top golfers in the world.
The 30-year-old is coming into the Valero Texas Open having finished third at the 2022 WGC-Dell Technologies Match Play over the weekend.
“It feels that way. The game definitely feels good. I feel like a made a lot of strides with my short game," Conners said about rediscovering his form after the WGC-Dell Technologies Match Play.
"I’m still hitting it very well, and chipping and putting as good as I ever have now. And I feel like I’ve done a good job this week.
"I left a few out there today, but this course is tricky. But I feel great about all parts of my game.”
