Red Bull Racing's Sergio Perez will be seeking his first podium in the
Saudi Arabian Grand Prix on Sunday, March 19 as he looks to keep pace with team-mate Max Verstappen.
The Mexican secured P2 at the Bahrain Grand Prix, which saw Red Bull claim a one-two finish in the season opener after Verstappen won the race by a comfortable 11.987-second margin.

Perez didn't have the best of debuts on the Jeddah Corniche Circuit in 2021, making it to lap 15 before being tagged from behind by Ferrari's Charles Leclerc and retiring from the race.
'Checo' fared much better in Jeddah last season, qualifying in pole position and leading for the first 15 laps before eventually finishing in P4. The safety car had been brought out just after he went into the pits, which allowed Leclerc and Verstappen to make their pitstops under safety car conditions to rejoin the race ahead of the 33-year-old.

Red Bull team principal Christian Horner has urged Perez to keep pushing Verstappen week in, week out to stay ahead of their competitors for what he predicts will be an "exciting" season.
"Max is a hell of a competitor and he's a tough... probably the highest benchmark in F1. But Checo is now in his third year in the team, he's confident, he's comfortable and he's got to be on his A-game - not just with Max," Horner said.
"[Ferrari's] drivers are pushing each other hard, Mercedes' drivers are [pushing each other] hard, we've got what looks like a pretty motivated veteran [Fernando Alonso] in a green car as well, so it's going to be a really exciting year."
