Barca will be keen to open a 12-point lead at the top of the log with a victory over Madrid.

The Whites, on the other hand, cannot afford to drop points in the El Clasico as it is imperative for the defending champions to secure a win.

Team News

Ousmane Dembele and Pedri are currently injured, while their Barcelona teammate Robert Lewandowski is also an injury doubt.

Meanwhile, Madrid will be without two players who are injured namely, David Alaba and Ferland Mendy.

Key Players

All eyes will be on Raphinha who has scored in each of his last two matches for Barcelona and he could be the man to hurt Madrid.

Barcelona manager Xavi Hernandez will have to come up with a plan to tame Madrid star Vinicius Junior who is a very dangerous winger.

“We needed to work hard and I think we had personality on the pitch which is not easy here, because Athletic they pressure a lot. I think it was very good in several moments, it was a very good win, a character win."
