Justin Thomas will be among the favourites to win the
2023 Valspar Championship when he tees off at the Innisbrook Resort and Golf Club.
What to know about Thomas
The American star enjoyed his breakout year in 2017 winning five PGA Tour events and the FedEx Cup championship.
Nicknamed JT, Thomas has won two major golf championships and he became the 21st player to top the Official World Golf Ranking (OWGR) in 2018.
JT, who became a professional golfer in 2013, has won 17 professional tournaments including 15 events which are part of the PGA Tour.

Thomas took part in the 2023 Players Championship in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida, USA where he finished 60th.
The former University of Alabama student's best performance in 2023 came at the Waste Management Phoenix Open in Arizona, USA as he finished fourth.
Why is Thomas among the favourites?
J.T. is currently ranked 10th in the OWGR - making him the highest ranked golfer among those who will compete at the 2023 Valspar Championship.
The 29-year-old returns to the Innisbrook Resort and Golf Club after tying for third at the 2022 Valspar, one shot out of a playoff.
Thomas will be determined to build his momentum by winning the Valspar Championship before defending his PGA Championship title in May 2023.
