Ducati Lenovo Team's Francesco Bagnaia will be targeting back-to-back wins in the
Portugal Grand Prix on Sunday, March 24.
The reigning two-time world champion won the race on the Algarve International Circuit for the first time in his career last year, eclipsing his previous best of P2 achieved in 2021.

Bagnaia kicked off the 2024 campaign in style with victory in the Qatar Grand Prix on March 10, having led from lap 1 after he overtook Prima Pramac Racing's Jorge Martin into turn 3.
The Italian had bemoaned issues with his new GP24 after only managing P4 in the sprint and the team's engineers crunched data before going to work on the bike overnight.
Bagnaia admitted the changes greatly improved his performance on race day as he finished a comfortable 1.329 seconds ahead of Red Bull KTM Factory Racing's Brad Binder.

"We work in silence," he said in parc ferme. "We knew our potential and tried to do the maximum yesterday, knowing that it was important to change something for today's race. And what we did this morning in the warm-up was important.
"The race was absolutely, completely different, compared to yesterday. I tried to manage it in a different way and it worked, so I'm very happy. Now we move on to Portimao with another step forward with the new bike."
