The Denver Nuggets will continue their push for top spot in the
NBA Western Conference when they face the San Antonio Spurs at the Frost Bank Center on the morning of Saturday, March 16.
The Nuggets have put themselves in the frame to secure the top seed for the playoffs from the West after winning nine of their last 10 games.
Michael Malone's team beat Toronto Raptors 125-119 on March 12 to register their third win on the spin and move within a half-game of West-leading Oklahoma City Thunder.
Nikola Jokic posted 35 points, 17 rebounds and 12 assists against the Raptors - his 21st triple-double of the season - while Jamal Murray added 26 points and 12 assists.

Denver rallied from 21 points down in the third quarter and Malone put their victory down to good defensive work after they limited Toronto to just 21 in the fourth.
"You can't trade baskets when you're down 20, so something's got to improve," Malone said. "We finally got defense back into the game."
The Spurs have the worst record in the West (14-51), although they've managed to win three of their six games this month.
Gregg Popovich's team were without rookie Victor Wembanyama for the first game of their double-header against Golden State Warriors, a 126-113 win.
Wembanyama returned for the 112-102 defeat to the Warriors two days later on March 12, posting a game-high 27 points and 14 rebounds.
However, San Antonio managed to score just one point in the final 2:43 minutes and the 20-year-old Frenchman admitted they weren't able to match the intensity of their opponents the second time around.
"So, obviously, consistency is always [important], but today I think it's also responding to the physicality that they put," Wembanyama said. "We didn't have a strong enough response."
