The 2019 Malaysian Grand Prix is set to take place in Selangor which is one of the 13 states of Malaysia.
This will be the 18th round of this year's Championship and it will take place at the Sepang International Circuit.
It is also the venue for the Malaysian Motorcycle Grand Prix, the Malaysia Merdeka Endurance Race and other major motorsport events.
Honda rider Marc Márquez is the defending champion (Malaysian Grand Prix) having won the 2018 race.
Suzuki's Álex Rins and Yamaha rider Johann Zarco finished second, and third respectively.
Honda rider Marquez has been crowned 2019 MotoGP champion having won an impressive 11 races this season.
Marquez is still hungry for more victories as he is looking to win the last two races in Malaysia and Valencia, Spain.
“We will just keep the same mentality and try to finish on the podium in these last two races but my target is to try to win," Marquez told Crash.net.

"Our opponents will give the answer during the weekend to see if it is possible to win or not.”
Ducati rider Andrea Dovizioso has secured a second-place finish on the standings, while Álex Rins of Suzuki will finish third.
Honda are also placed at the top of the manufacturers' standings, but they are now 95 points above second-placed Ducati.
Yamaha and Suzuki occupy the third and fourth spots with two races left in this season's championship.
