The two teams will meet for the 30th time across all competitions since the 2004/05 campaign when Levante returned to the Spanish top flight.

Madrid have the upper hand in this rivalry having won 19 matches compared to Levante's six wins, while four matches ended in a stalemate.

Levante managed to hold Madrid to a 3-3 draw at the Ciutat de València in the last meeting between the two teams in La Liga which was on 28 August 2021.

Madrid's home form is improving as they secured a 3-1 win over RCD Espanyol in their last league match at Estadio Santiago Bernabeu which was played on April 30.

As a result, the White are undefeated in their last two matches at home in this competition having registered two consecutive wins over Espanyol and Getafe CF.

Meanwhile, Levante have been decent travellers as they held Valencia CF to a 1-1 draw in their last away La Liga match which took place on April 30.

Therefore, the Frogs are undefeated in their two away matches having recorded one draw and one win which came against Granada CF.

"That’s my best version of myself in the Champions League and I hope I can continue to score a lot more times," Madrid star Rodrygo said after their win over Manchester City in the UEFA Champions League on May 4.

"In this shirt we learn to always fight until the end and that's the way it was. We conceded a goal and we were almost dead, but with my first goal we started to believe because we've fought back in other games and then came the second.

"From right now, we turn our attentions to Liverpool. We have another two LaLiga games we can use to prepare for the final," he continued.

“Now we have to think about the next game, Atlético Madrid. We might be LaLiga champions but this club demands we keep winning”.
