Red Bull Racing's Sergio Perez will be looking to continue his title challenge at the
Miami Grand Prix on Sunday, May 7 after claiming three podium finishes in the first four races of 2023.
The Mexican has emerged as a genuine contender to Red Bull team-mate Max Verstappen following his victory at the Azerbaijan Grand Prix on April 30.
Perez started the season with P2 at the Bahrain Grand Prix, although he finished well off the pace after coming in 11.987 seconds behind race winner Verstappen.

However, the 33-year-old put on a masterclass at the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix a fortnight later to take the checkered flag 5.355 seconds ahead of the Dutchman to record his first win of the campaign.
'Checo' then experienced technical problems during qualifying for the Australian Grand Prix, which forced him to start the race from the pit lane but he managed to salvage the situation somewhat by claiming P5.
Perez now trails the reigning two-time World Champion by six points in second place and is 17 clear of Aston Martin's Fernando Alonso, who sits third in the drivers' standings after securing three successive P3 finishes.

But for the issues that plagued him at the Albert Park Circuit in Melbourne, Perez believes he would be leading the way right now and he's determined to keep working towards that goal.
"I think with having three kids at home, I wouldn't be travelling the world if I didn't believe that I could be a World Champion, and I'm working towards that," he said.
"But, obviously, there is only so much you can say outside of the car, I think it's important to deliver on the track. I think without all the issues that we had in qualifying in Melbourne, we should be leading the championship.
"So, definitely there is everything to believe that we can do well. I'm fighting for [the championship], but I also know that it's a massive road ahead so I need to keep my head down and just keep delivering."
