Brandt Snedeker will be looking to use his impeccable experience to win the first-ever
Myrtle Beach Classic trophy.
What to know about Snedeker
The American star has been a professional golfer since 2004 having lifted the US Amateur Public Links trophy in 2003 before turning pro.
Snedeker has won 13 professional tournaments including nine PGA Tour events and the 2012 FedEx Cup champion played on two victorious US Ryder Cup teams.

The 2007 PGA Tour Rookie of the Year was in action at the recent 2024 CJ Cup Byron Nelson where he made the cut, but he finished 48th.
Currently placed 699th on the Official World Golf Rankings (OWGR), Snedeker was the No. 4 ranked golfer in the world in 2013 and it remains his best OWGR ranking.
Why Snedeker is among the favourites
The 43-year-old tops the list of the 2024 Myrtle Beach Classic participants with nine wins on the PGA Tour from 2007-2018, including the Tour Championship in 2012.
His last win came at the 2018 Wyndham Championship where he shot 59 in the first round and he will be determined to end his trophy drought this weekend.

"To shoot 59 on Thursday, to be in the lead all week, to deal with that pressure every night, to be able to step up to the plate today and shoot 65 when I had to means the world to me," Snedeker said after winning the Wyndham Championship.
“Pretty hard not to think that, I just shot 59 on Thursday and won the tournament. I’m kind of one of those players who gets on hot streaks and runs them while they can, so hopefully I can keep doing that.”
