Quotes
"We have to take all the positives from that first half performance. We looked strong," Newcastle manager Eddie Howe said after his side's defeat to Arsenal.
"Nick [Pope] didn't have too much to do. He's [Alexander Isak] got a bit of swelling in a muscle in his groin. He's only got seven days to get himself fit.
"Fingers crossed he can get there. "It's obviously great for everyone to watch and we have to do our job against Everton."
Head-to-Head
Newcastle and Everton drew 0-0 in their last meeting in the league, which was on 5 October at Goodison Park.
As a result, the Toffees are undefeated in their last three Premier League matches against the Magpies, having registered two successive draws and one win.
