Zach Johnson will be looking to edge closer to Ben Hogan's record of five
Charles Schwab Challenge titles by winning this weekend's event.
What to know about Johnson
The experienced golfer has 12 victories on the PGA Tour, including two major championships, the 2007 Masters and the 2015 Open Championship.
At the 2023 Ryder Cup, Johnson captained the U.S. squad against Europe in Rome, Italy and he was named Nationwide Tour Player of the Year in 2003.

The American legend took a break from competitive golf after competing in the CJ Cup Byron Nelson in McKenny, Texas, USA where he missed the cut.
Johnson is coming into the 2025 Charles Schwab Challenge sitting in the 175th spot on the Official World Golf Rankings and his best OWGR ranking is sixth place.
Why Johnson is among the favourites
The 49-year-old was crowned champion of the Charles Schwab Challenge in 2010 and 2012, and only Hogan has won more titles in the history of the tournament.
Johnson, who tends to play some of his golf at the Colonial Country Club, showed his quality at the 2025 Masters Tournament as he finished eighth.

"I've seen the work and the results of hitting the face and seeing the line on putts. It just hasn't showed (in results). I don't know if today is a flash, but today was, for lack of a better term, a stroll in the park. I didn't feel like it was work... man, I was in control."
