World no. 47 Jordan Spieth will go in search of his first PGA Tour win in four years at the Byron Nelson from 21-24 May.
The American is one of seven players ranked inside the top 50 competing at TPC Craig Ranch and he's hoping to wind back the years.
Spieth was a dominant force in the game just over a decade ago, winning the Masters Tournament and the US Open in 2015 before adding the Open Championship to his list of major accolades two years later.
But the career Grand Slam has so far eluded the 32-year-old, who has to wait another year to attempt the feat after he finished T18 at the 2026 PGA Championship.
The former world No. 1 won the last of his 16 PGA Tour titles in 2022 at the RBC Heritage and he's yet to achieve a top 10 this season.
Spieth made just 11 birdies across 72 holes at Aronimink and admitted he could have been challenging for honours had his putting game been on point.
"It's very frustrating," Spieth told GOLF after shooting an even 70 in the third round. "Tomorrow there is going to be less wind so you're not going to be able to make up as much ground without going super low. Today was the day to do it and I just really haven't been able to figure out these greens.
"Scoring comes down to making putts. It's scoring inside of 150 yards and making putts. I feel like I've hit some pretty good shots from in that range and have had plenty of looks, and if my Strokes Gained: Putting was the same as anyone in the top 10 in the field right now, I'd probably be leading."
