Paris Saint-Germain v Arsenal

Luis Enrique has an opportunity to win his seventh major trophy with Paris Saint-Germain when they clash with Arsenal in the UEFA Champions League final at the Puskas Arena on Saturday, May 30.

The Spaniard is already a cult hero in Paris after guiding Les Rouge-et-Bleu to glory in Europe's elite club competition last season - their main objective since Nasser Al-Khelaifi became president in 2011.

After winning the domestic double in his first season at Parc des Princes, Enrique claimed the unprecedented treble with PSG last term before guiding them to a third consecutive Ligue 1 crown this month.

The 56-year-old is now seeking back-to-back European titles which would see him become only the second manager to achieve the feat in the Champions League era after Zinedine Zidane.

Enrique took the French giants to the semi-finals in 2023-24 and he has a record of 26 wins, seven draws and 12 losses, with his team scoring 101 goals and conceding 52 in 45 matches.

Despite being on the verge of making more history, Enrique believes there was more pressure to win the competition in 2024-25 on their first trip back to the final since losing to Bayern Munich four years earlier.

"I'd say there was more pressure last season because everyone was like, 'This is it! We can't lose this time!'" he told the official UEFA website.

"This time around, there is pressure because we believe we deserve it, based on our run through the competition and all the other teams that we've seen off along the way.

"We came through the play-off round, we had the worst draw out of the 36 teams. Following the process of everything we've experienced and everything we've improved over the course of the season, we're finishing it off with this final, and our aim is obviously to win it, to round off the season in a positive way."

Head-to-Head:

Matches - 5

PSG wins - 2

Arsenal wins - 1

Draws - 2
