Cadiz CF will take on Atletico Madrid in a Spanish

Meanwhile, Atletico secured a slender 1-0 win over CA Osasuna at home in their last league encounter on November 20.
Therefore, the Mattress Makers are undefeated in their last six matches in this competition having registered three victories and three draws.
However, Atletico are winless in their last three matches on the road in La Liga having recorded two successive draws and one defeat as the visitors.

"I liked it. We did what we wanted. Osasuna did well and we looked for what we thought could do the damage for us against them," Atletico manager Diego Simeone said following their victory over Osasuna.
"The league is very competitive and in all the games there are not many differences. FC Barcelona's period which had Lionel Messi, Luis Suárez and Neymar or Gareth Bale, Karim Benzema and Ronaldo (at Real Madrid) has passed.
"The league is now more balanced and the league is as they see it, very competitive for everyone."
The last meeting between Cadiz and Atletico in a league match was on 31 January 2021.
Atletico emerged 4-2 winners over Cadiz in a match which was played at Estadio Nuevo Mirandilla which was formerly known as Estadio Ramón de Carranza.
