Liverpool FC will go head to head with SSC Napoli in a
UEFA Champions League Group A match on November 1.
The English giants thrashed Dutch giants Ajax Amsterdam 3-0 away in their previous game in this competition on October 26.
The win extended Liverpool's unbeaten run to four matches in the Champions League having recorded four successive victories.
The Reds are also undefeated in their last two matches at home in this competition having registered two consecutive wins at Anfield.
"We pressed slightly differently and we had to get used to that. That's normal, it's an away game in the Champions League and it's difficult so we came through that with one situation where we were probably lucky and the other situation where we had a good block," Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp said after their win over Ajax.
"Then we scored a goal and you could see how the goal can open pretty much everything. The goal was already brilliant but the next situation was then a sensational football moment, [but] unfortunately we hit the post there.
"At half-time we had a lot of good moments to show and we tried to continue on that pathway. Then we scored the two goals, controlled the game, which was really good and difficult. We are really happy about going to the last 16. Great."

Meanwhile, Napoli secured a 3-0 victory over Scottish giants Rangers FC at home in their previous Group A match on October 26.
The Italian side is undefeated in their last five matches in this competition having recorded five successive victories.
Napoli are also undefeated in their last two away matches in the Champions League having registered two consecutive victories on the road.
The last time Liverpool hosted Napoli in a Champions League match was on 27 November 2019.
The two teams played to a 1-1 draw in the Group E which was played at Anfield which is the seventh largest football stadium in England.
