Scottie Scheffler will be looking to win the World Wide
Technology Championship at Mayakoba for the first time in his career.
Currently placed second on the Official World Golf Rankings, the American star is the highest ranked player among those who will be competing in the event.
Through only three years competing at the game’s highest level – the PGA Tour, Scheffler has already reached the top spot on the Official World Golf Rankings.

The 26-year-old enjoyed an incredible 2021-2022 campaign as he won four times on PGA Tour, including this year’s Masters Tournament.
Scheffler also clinched the WM Phoenix Open, Arnold Palmer Invitational presented by Mastercard and the World Golf Championship-Dell Technologies Match Play.
Furthermore, the 2019-2020 PGA Tour Rookie of the Year finished second in the FedExCup Standings behind Rory McIlroy.
Scheffler will now be giping to record his first win in the current campaign by clinching the World Wide Technology Championship at Mayakoba.
