Newcastle will be looking to improve on their poor
Premier League record against Arsenal when the two teams clash at St James' Park on Saturday, November 4 in the late kick-off.
The Magpies have only beaten the Gunners 11 times in the Premier League era, with two of those coming in the last six seasons - both on home soil.
Eddie Howe has done a wonderful job on Tyneside since the club exchanged ownership, guiding them to the UEFA Champions League last season for the first time in 20 years.
Howe's side drew 2-2 with Wolves at Molineux on October 28 to go six games unbeaten, although they lost ground on the top five after Aston Villa (5th), Liverpool (4th), Manchester City (3rd), the Gunners (2nd) and Tottenham (1st) all won on matchday 10.
Defeats for Manchester United (8th) and West Ham (9th) saw them fail to make up ground on the Toon, who are tied with Brighton (7th) on 17 points.

Arsenal kept pace with their title rivals after thrashing Sheffield United 5-0 at the Emirates Stadium to maintain their unbeaten start to the campaign.
Mikel Arteta's side climbed above City on goals scored courtesy of their biggest victory this term to remain two points adrift of arch-rivals Spurs.
Callum Wilson is proving his worth to Newcastle after bagging a brace against Wanderers to make it three goals in his last two games. The striker has had to bide his time after playing second fiddle to Alexander Isak last season, but he went on to score 18 goals to help the Tynesiders finish in the top four. He sits fourth in the scoring charts after netting seven goals in nine appearances.

Eddie Nketiah has forced his way firmly into Arteta's thinking in 2023-24 and only enhanced his reputation with a hat-trick against the Blades. The striker has been a regular starter for Arsenal in the new campaign, keeping Gabriel Jesus out of the team, and took his tally to five goals in 10 appearances.
Howe lamented the lack of attacking options at his disposal against Wolves after making just one substitution at Molineux due to having mostly full-backs on the bench, with Isak and Jacob Murphy injured, while Sandro Tonali is serving a 10-month suspension for betting violations.
"I was left with a lot of defenders," he said after the game. "I have to be careful making changes. That game was very difficult to come into.
"You really want to be changing attacking players and going for three points but they were not available for us."
Arteta was full of praise for Nketiah, who made his eighth start of the season against Sheffield United and has earned the trust of his manager.
"I'm really happy for him," the Spaniard said. "Three very different goals that required a lot of quality and composure. He had a few weeks where he hasn't scored a goal and today he had an opportunity, with a great performance and three beautiful goals.
"He's always there, he's always available, always willing to improve and give his best for the team, he's playing a lot, he's started eight games in the Premier League this season, that's a lot, that tells you the level of trust that we have towards him."
