Matchday 13

Atalanta v Napoli

Kick-off is at 19h00
Napoli will look to get their Serie A title defence back on track when they make the long trip to the north of the country to face Atalanta at the Gewiss Stadium on Saturday, November 25.
Walter Mazzarri's side are well off the pace of the frontrunners this season after a surprise 1-0 defeat to Empoli on November 12 left them 10 points adrift of league leaders Inter Milan in fourth place.
The Partenopei have also dropped points against Lazio, Genoa, Bologna and Fiorentina, while they saw Inter and Juventus pull further ahead at the top of the table following wins for the duo on matchday 12.
AC Milan are just two points clear of the Naples outfit in third position after they were held to a 2-2 draw by Lecce, which extended their winless run to four games.

La Dea (5th) closed within a point of Napoli as a result of their 1-1 draw against Udinese and they'll be targeting a first win in three matches as they go in search of UEFA Champions League football.
Ederson has made an impressive start to the campaign at the Gewiss Stadium after bagging four goals in 12 games. The Brazilian midfielder has already surpassed his best tally of goals in a season and he's scored three times in his last five appearances.
Mazzarri will be hoping that Matteo Politano can continue to deliver the goods in the absence of Victor Osimhen, who is sidelined with a hamstring injury. The Italian winger scored in the opening game of the season against Frosinone and has gone on to net another four goals to sit one behind Osimhen.

Atalanta head coach Gian Piero Gasperini praised the never-say-die attitude of his players against the Little Zebras and he hopes to see the same mentality for the visit of the defending champions.
"We did very well in the first half hour and then made things complicated for ourselves. What's positive to see today is that we have an iron will and never give up," Gasperini told DAZN.
"Our mentality was rewarded and the desire to stay up there in the top spots of the table. As for Napoli, I would be happy to repeat the performance we had against Inter, even if the result didn't go our way."
This will be Mazzarri's first match back at the helm after he took over the reins from Rudi Garcia on November 14, having previously served the club from 2009 to 2013.
"I am tired, I haven't slept for two days," the Italian told CalcioNapoli24 ahead of his first training session. "It is all as wonderful as usual."
