Matchday 11
Brentford FC vs Newcastle United

London, England
Sunday, 9 November 2025
Kick-off is at 16h00
Brentford FC will be eager to return to winning ways in the
Premier League when they meet Newcastle United at the Gtech Community Stadium on 9 November.
Current Form
The Bees suffered a 2-0 defeat to Crystal Palace away on 1 November as their two-match unbeaten run in the league came to an end.
Brentford have also lost two of their last three home matches in the league, while the other game ended in a victory at the Gtech Community Stadium.
Meanwhile, Newcastle succumbed to a 3-1 defeat to West Ham United away on 2 November and it was their second loss in their last three games in the league.
The Magpies are also winless in their last eight away matches in the Premier League, having recorded four defeats and four draws on the road.
Team News
Brentford have no suspension concerns, but Joshua Dasilva, Benjamin Arthur and Antonio Milambo are the players on the club's injury list so far.
Newcastle, on the other hand, have Joan Wissa, Valentino Livramento, Kieran Trippier, Anthony Gordon and Harrison Ashby on their injury list, but there are no suspension concerns.
Quotes
"It was a game of very few chances - and they edged it. My players aren't robots, they will make mistakes," Brentford manager Keith Andrews said after his side's loss to Palace.
"There were elements of the first half that I wasn't bowled over with. "The players have been outstanding over the last few weeks. They tried to break them down but just didn't have that little bit of magic.
"We'll analyse it like we do any game. We are very understanding of where we are and the steps we need to take as a group."
Head-to-Head
Brentford secured a 4-2 win over Newcastle in their last meeting in the league, which was in December 2024 at Gtech Community Stadium.
The win ended the Bees' three-match winless run in the Premier League against the Magpies, who had recorded three successive victories.
