Francesco Bagnaia will be keen to win the
Valencian MotoGP for the third time and edge closer to Dani Pedrosa and Jorge Lorenzo's record of four titles.

The Ducati Lenovo Team rider failed to secure a podium spot at the Portuguese MotoGP on 9 November, the most recent event on the 2025 MotoGP calendar.
Bagnaia was, unfortunately, forced to retire after being involved in an accident and he left Portugal with only two points, having finished eighth in the sprint event.
MotoGP title ambitions
The 2018 Moto2 World Champion placed fourth in the 2025 MotoGP Riders' standings, having collected 288 points from 21 races, with the Marquez brothers having clinched the top two spots.
Bagnaia is 35 points behind third-placed Marco Bezzecchi of Aprilia and 37 points will be at stake at the Valencian MotoGP as the duo battle to finish third in the MotoGP Riders' standings.
Why Bagnaia could win the 2025 Valencian MotoGP
The 2022 and 2023 MotoGP World Riders' Champion tends to bring his A-game whenever he competes in the Valencian MotoGP, as he was crowned champion in 2023 and 2021.
Having won this season's Americas and Japanese MotoGP races, Bagnaia has what it takes to win this weekend's race and possibly finish third in the MotoGP Riders' standings.
What did he say?
“After yesterday’s grip issues, today I was simply trying to stay with the frontrunners," Bagnaia said after being forced to retire at the 2025 Portuguese MotoGP.
"I gave it my all, but unfortunately, they were faster than me. My margin to the riders behind was increasing, but then I crashed: I entered turn ten a bit faster than usual and, while trying to decelerate, the front tucked. I was pushing hard and these things can happen.
"The positive note is that we made a step forward compared to yesterday, so we’ll try to do our best in the final Grand Prix of the season.”
