Elche CF will take on Real Madrid in a Spanish

The Green Striped Ones suffered a 1-0 defeat to Deportivo Alaves away in their previous league encounter which was played on October 26.
As a result, Elche are winless in their last three matches in this competition having registered two defeats and one draw.

However, the Green Striped Ones are undefeated in their last six home matches in La Liga having recorded two draws and four wins.
Meanwhile, Madrid were held to a 0-0 draw by CA Osasuna in their previous league game which was played on October 27.
As a result, the Whites are now unbeaten in their last two matches in the competition having registered one victory and one draw.
Madrid returned to winning ways on the road when they defeated Barcelona in the competition with Espanyol having ended their 18-match unbeaten run as the visitors.

"I didn’t like the first half much as we didn’t switch the play much. We went down the left an awful lot," Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti said as he reacted to their result against Osasuna.
"I liked the second half much more. I can’t be critical of my players, who gave everything. We have to understand that we might have tough games like this. We have wingers who can beat their man,
"But there are many players in the area when you play certain teams. We tried to reach the area from the outside. We tried many dangerous crosses. We have to find solutions.”
The last meeting between Elche and Madrid in a league match was on 13 March 2021.
Madrid claimed a 2-1 win over Elche in a match which was played at the Estadio Alfredo Di Stéfano.
