Jorge Martin will be determined to close the gap on his MotoGP world title rival Francesco Bagnaia by winning the
Thailand MotoGP.

The Ducati Prima Pramac Racing rider narrowly missed out on a podium spot at the recent 2023 Australian MotoGP on 22 October.
Martin, who is nicknamed Martinator, started on the first grid, but he slipped up and ended up finishing fifth which saw him collect just 11 points.
Standings
Martinator remains placed second on the riders' standings having accumulated 339 points from 16 races and his title ambitions are still alive.
The Madrid-born start is now 27 points behind leader Bagnaia of Ducati with four races left in the current season.
Why Martin could win the 2023 Thailand MotoGP
Martin has now failed to secure a podium spot in the last two races and he will be eager to bounce back to winning ways in Thailand.
The 25-year-old will be looking to regain the form that saw him win this season's German MotoGP, San Marino, and Japanese MotoGP.
What did he say?
"For sure from now on, I won’t take any gambles. We have to go at least with the same tyre as our opponents and I will stick with that for the rest of the season at least," Martin said after the recent Australian MotoGP.
Asked by The Race when he knew he'd made the wrong call, Martin replied: "Seven to go I think was the moment where I saw ‘I’m in trouble’ because I saw they were catching by 0.4s at that point.
"But I was pushing a lot. But I couldn’t push on acceleration, I was just pushing on braking and a little bit on corner speed, but I had no power, no rear grip and no tyres. "I just tried to finish the best I could and this was fifth position."
