Cameron Champ will be determined to win the
Sanderson Farms Championship for the second time in his career.
What to know about Champ
The American golfer turned professional in 2017 and his maiden win came the following year - lifting Web.com Tour's Utah Championship in July.
Since then Champ has won three PGA Tour tournaments including the Safeway Open in 2019 and the 3M Open in 2021.
The Sacramento-born star's best performances in major golf tournaments are 10th spot finishes at the 2022 Masters Tournament and 2020 PGA Championship.

Champ took part in the 2023 Fortinet Championship in Georgia, USA where he failed to make the cut in what was the most recent event on the 2022/23 PGA Tour schedule.
The former Texas A&M University student is placed 288th on the Official World Golf Rankings (OWGR) and his best OWGR ranking is 63rd.
Why Champ could win the Sanderson Farms Championship
The Sanderson Farms Championship is a special tournament for Champ as he won it in October 2018 with a score of −21 and it was his first-ever victory on the PGA Tour.
The 28-year-old will be returning to the Country Club of Jackson where he will be confident of securing another victory.

“To say I’m excited for this season … last year, there was a lot of stuff for me, personally, that was going on,” Champ said at the 2023 Fortinet Championship.
"Not so much golf, but kind of a mix of both. So last year, just say it was a very good learning experience for me.
"With the stuff I had to deal with off [the course], trying to play, coming back from injuries, stuff happening again, it was just kinda like one thing after another happened last year," he added.
"But that’s life. I just think now, I’m in a better place, personally, which, again, for golf, that’s all that matters.”
