Current Form
Almeria succumbed to a 2-1 defeat to Villarreal CF away on 17 September and they are now winless in their last eight games in the Spanish top-flight.
Rojiblancos are also winless in their last four home matches having recorded one draw and three consecutive defeats at the Power Horse Stadium.
While Valencia claimed a 3-0 win over Atletico Madrid at home on 16 September as they snapped their two-match winless run in La Liga.
The Bats lost to Deportivo Alaves in their last away match and the defeat ended their two-match unbeaten run on the road.
Team News
The good news for Almeria is that they have no suspension worries and the club is yet to report any injuries ahead of their clash with Valencia.
Their visitors are likely to be without Dimitri Foulquier, Gabriel Paulista and Alberto Marí who are currently injured, but Valencia has no suspension issues.
"It is a day to enjoy for all Valencia CF fans, because of how the game went, because of how difficult this victory was to get, us seeing our fans happy and enjoying what we work for," Valencia manager Ruben Baraja said after their win over Atletico.
"We want them to be happy and to understand how important they are to us. The people in the Grada de Animacion stand, who we haven't had with us in the last few games, carried us along.
"Mestalla was what we expect from the fans: They always give us their all. That was essential to us winning the game and now we have to enjoy the moment, always with balance and calm, and now we need to think about the next game."
Almeria beat Valencia 2-1 in their last meeting in La Liga and the game took place at the Power Horse Stadium on 9 April 2023.
As a result, Rojiblancos are undefeated in their last two league matches against Bats having won one game and drawn once.
