The Bats suffered a 1-0 defeat to Deportivo Alaves away on 2 September and they are now winless in their last two matches in the league.
Valencia lost 2-1 to CA Osasuna in their last home game and the defeat ended their five-match unbeaten run at the Estadio de Mestalla.
