Jorge Martin will be determined to record his second win of the campaign by clinching the
Catalan MotoGP in his home country.

The Ducati Prima Pramac Racing rider missed out on a podium spot at the recent 2023 Austrian MotoGP as he finished seventh on August 20.
Martin, who is nicknamed Martinator, started 12th on the grid and managed to finish seventh at the Red Bull Ring..
2022 Catalan MotoGP
The Spanish Grand Prix motorcycle racer finished second at the 2022 Catalan MotoGP having started sixth on the grid.
This was Martinator's best performance in this event as he finished 14th in 2021 which was his debut appearance in the race.
Why Martin could win the 2023 Catalan MotoGP
The 25-year-old is placed second on the riders' standings and he looks like a serious contender for the MotoGP world title.
Martin won this season's German MotoGP and he will be eager to register his second victory at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya in front of his compatriots.
What did he say?
“I felt it was the best position I could achieve today starting from twelfth,” Martin said after the 2023 Austrian MotoGP.
“I did an amazing start and was with the podium group, but then went back to 14th. So I lost time overtaking a lot of riders and had to use too much rear tyre. I felt I was the only one who could put some pressure on [Francesco Bagnaia] today.
"Maybe not for the win, because he was really fast at the end, but I feel I was the only one who could be closer. “I was losing a little bit [to Bagnaia] on corner 9 but the rest I was really close or faster than him."
