Tottenham Hotspur will square off with West Ham United in an
English Premier League match at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on June 23.
This will be the 48th meeting between Tottenham and West Ham in the Premier League.
Tottenham have the upper hand having won 23 matches compared to West Ham's 15 victories, while nine games ended in a draw.
West Ham suffered a 3-2 defeat to Tottenham in their last match which was played on 23 November 2019 at the London Stadium.
Jack Wilshere, the West Ham midfielder, has stressed the importance of doing well in their first few league matches.
“We need to start quickly from the first game because there are only nine games left. You can’t say ‘We need two or three games to get going’ because there is no time for that," Wilshere said.
“We have to be ready as a team to get as many points as early as possible, and then it’s down to the individual to impress the manager or do what he has to do to get what he needs.”

Meanwhile, Tottenham are looking to win their clash with West Ham and keep their hopes of securing a top-four finish in the league alive.
Spurs will look to their star player Harry Kane, who is widely considered to be one of the best strikers in world football.
Meanwhile, West Ham are keen to avoid relegation from the league this season and they will be desperate for a win over Tottenham. The Hammers captain, Mark Noble, who is the longest-serving player in the team, will be looking to lead his side to a win in the London Derby.
