The
2019 Singapore Grand Prix will take place on Sunday in Marina Bay which is a bay located in the Central Area of Singapore.
This will be the 15th round of this year's Championship and it is set to take place at the Marina Bay Street Circuit.
The circuit holds a unique record of having at least one safety car appearance in every race to date.
Mercedes driver Lewis Hamilton will be keen to defend his Singapore Grand Prix title having won the race four times.
Max Verstappen of Red Bull and Ferrari driver Sebastian Vettel, who has also won the race four titles, finished second, and third respectively last year.
Hamilton remains at the top of the Drivers’ Championship standings having finished third at the recent Italian Grand Prix.
His teammate Valtteri Bottas is placed second on the standings - 63 points behind Hamilton with seven races left.
Vettel's Ferrari teammate Charles Leclerc is placed fourth place after winning the 2019 Italian Grand GP.
Mercedes are still at the top of the Constructors' Championship standings with 505 points.
Vettel's Ferrari are placed second on the standings - 154 points behind the leaders ahead of this year's Singapore GP.
