West Bromwich will take on Newcastle United in the FA Cup fifth round at The Hawthorns on March 3.
 
The Baggies sneaked into this round after defeating English Premier League side West Ham United 1-0 away.

Before that, they had knocked out fellow English Championship side Charlton Athletic in another away match.
 
However, West Brom have won only one of their last six home matches in the competition while also recording three defeats and two draws.

Meanwhile, Newcastle booked their place in this round after defeating English League One side Oxford United 3-2 at away.
 
Prior to that, the Magpies had brushed aside English League One outfit Rochdale at home in the previous round.
 
Newcastle are undefeated in their last three matches on the road in the competition having registered two wins and one draw.

Steve Bruce, the Newcastle manager, is pleased after learning that the club is taking over 5,000 fans to West Brom.
 
"Five thousand, is it?"Wow! Well, I think they're on board with that too. Let's go and have a crack," Bruce said on the Chronicle Live.

"Thankfully, we've got a few players back now who are desperate to play, so it will be good. Let's enjoy it."

The last time West Brom and Newcastle clashed in the FA Cup was on 23rd January 2010.
 
The Baggies recorded a 4-2 victory over the Magpies in the fourth round proper match at The Hawthorns.
