Real Valladolid will square off with Real Sociedad in a
Spanish La Liga match at the Estadio Municipal Jose Zorrilla on September 13.
The White and Violets secured a 2-0 win over Real Betis in their last league game which played on in July 2020 as they ended the 2019/20 campaign with a victory.
The victory ended Valladolid's three-match winless run in the league having recorded three successive defeats.

They have done well in their last five home matches in the league having registered two draws, one defeat and two wins including the clash with Betis.
Sergio Gonzalez, the Valladolid manager, discussed their preparations for their encounter with Sociedad.

"To say that we are at 100% would be deceiving ourselves, I don't think any team is at that level," Gonzalez said.
"Yes, we can get a quality eleven and have people on the bench who are willing to leave and who can give us that refreshment."

Meanwhile, Sociedad drew 1-1 with Atletico Madrid in their last league game which was played in July 2020 and it was their final game of the 2019/20 season.
The draw extended the Royal's unbeaten run to three games in the league having recorded two draws and one victory.
They are also undefeated in their three away matches in the league having registered two draws and one victory.
The last meeting between Valladolid and Sociedad in the league was on 28 February 2020.
The Royals secured a 1-0 win over the White and Violets in a match which was played at the Reale Arena.
