Charles Leclerc will be determined to reclaim the second spot on the 2022 Drivers' Championship standings by clinching the
United States Grand Prix.
The Ferrari driver narrowly missed out on a podium spot at last year's United States Grand Prix as he finished fourth having started fourth on the grid.
Leclerc also came close to winning the most recent race in the current campaign which was the Japanese Grand Prix on October 9 and he ended up finishing third.

The Monégasque star was second when he began to struggle with his tyres which led to him finishing third having cut the chicane for which he was given a five-second penalty.
Leclerc watched on as Red Bull Racing-RBPT driver Max Verstappen won the Japanese Grand Prix with Sergio Perez finishing second following an enthralling race in Asia.
Having spent the better part of the current season in position two on the 2022 Drivers' Championship standings, the 25-year-old racing driver is now placed third behind Perez.
Leclerc, who won the GP3 Series championship in 2016, will reclaim the second spot if he wins the United States Grand Prix - leapfrogging Perez.

"I gave it my all, but it was a difficult race for us today. We were strong in warming up the tyres in the first few laps, but then it all faded away. Especially at the end, I struggled with front tyre degradation and it was really difficult to keep Checo (Perez) behind me," Leclerc said after the Japanese Grand Prix.
"I congratulate Max (Verstappen) and Red Bull for an incredible season, they’ve done an excellent job and deserve the title. We will use the last four races to work on our race execution, tyre management and becoming a stronger team all-round so that we can mount an even better challenge next year.
"We’ve already been making steps in the right direction in the past two races and we will keep on pushing this way until the end."
Red Bull Racing-RBPT are close to clinching the Constructors' Championship having accumulated 619 points and they are followed by Ferrari with 454 points and Mercedes with 387 points respectively.
