With new recruit Antony ready to shine for Real Betis once again, Los Verdiblancos will take on Levante in their latest 2025/26
La Liga assignment this Sunday.
Prior to the international break, Real Betis battled to yield positive results, which was further highlighted with their 2-1 loss to Athletic Bilbao before the break.
Sitting at eighth on the table, Betis also recorded two stalemates with Celta Vigo and Elche. Betis' only win of the season came against Alaves, in a game that took place on Friday 22 August at Estadio La Cartuja de Sevilla.
Levante are currently without a win after three matches played and occupy 19
th position after their first three games.
The struggling LaLiga outfit will head into their next game on the back of consecutive defeats against Alaves, Barcelona and Elche respectively.
In what was news that made headlines in Spanish media recently, Brazilian star Antony spoke of his struggles at Manchester United after making a deadline day transfer to Betis.
“I went through difficult times (at United) when I no longer felt that pleasure. I even told my brother that I couldn’t take it anymore,” Antony said.
“What happened in Manchester, only I know how difficult it was.
“I'm sorry. Training separately, but that's part of life. I knew this moment would come. It's in the past.”
